I am in Kenya with updates on our Singing Tree Nursery!

1. We INSTALLED FENCING: The Nursery is well positioned in a shady spot beneath trees Mutinda has planted. We installed chicken wire and chain link to keep out wayward chickens who like to eat seedlings!

2. We used WATER FROM THE NEW WATER CATCHMENT TANK you helped us buy, to propagate Moringa seeds. Moringa Tree seeds and leaves are a super food.

3. We prepared the soil with chicken manure to fertilize. The chickens are good at providing that! CLICK TO SEE FERTILIZER VIDEO 😂😂😂

The water from the new tank keeps the Nursery growing and viable.

I love Mutinda’s cool watering can that supports a lot of thirsty plants.

4. I sang with the children and enjoyed my time at Yanzuu Day Star Academy during a site visit. Yanzuu is our biggest tree-planting site.

Here’s how you can help:

Option 1: Adopt-A-Tree ~ For $25 we will plant 1 tree, including water and maintenance services for a year. 

Option 2: Adopt-A-Grove ~ For $50 we will plant 5 trees, including water and maintenance services for a year. 

Option 3: Adopt a Food Forest ~ For $100 we will plant 15 trees, including water and maintenance services for a year.
